Electronic mailing list members are individuals that receive mass emails, including weekly and/or monthly newsletters. Depending on the software that’s used to manage a particular mailing list, they may have subscribed personally, expressing their approval to be included in the mailing list, or they may have been included manually. The latter implies that they will pratictically get unsolicited messages. Ordinarily, member list subscribers can be managed by the mailing list moderator who can include or remove them, or they can unsubscribe manually if they do not wish to get email messages in the future. All members will always get the exact same message as long as they are part of one and the same mailing list, but a single member will never be able to view the other mailing list subscribers in the "To" field of the email message.

We provide one of the most widely used mailing list apps called Majordomo. It will allow you to view all your mailing list subscribers, to approve new or to remove existing ones by sending an email message to the mailing list’s administrator address, so you can manage everything without even having to log into your Control Panel. Of course, only you, being the mailing list moderator, will be able to achieve this. New mailing list members have to confirm their subscription, so the emails that you send out will be legitimate and you will not have to worry about email messages getting reported as spam.
